How to make sure you are receiving a genuine CND Shellac Service
Things to look out for during your service
Things to look out for during removal
- The technician will use a CND branded UV lamp with the CND branded polishes.
- They will NOT file the surface of your natural nail prior to application.
- They will properly prep your nails by removing all dead skin form the nail plate.
- They will use CND Scrubfresh to cleanse the nail plate prior to application.
- They will apply a base coat, at least 2 coats of colour and a top coat.
Things to look out for during removal
- The technician will not be required to file down the surface of the polish.
- The technician will apply the removing solution to individual wraps (either CND branded or foil wraps) and place on each individual finger or toe.
- You will not be asked to 'soak' your fingers in a bowl of acetone.
- The polish does not need to be filed off (unless applied on top of enhancements)
- Removal should take only 10 minutes (however the quality of the natural nail may affect this timing)
There are many salons that will claim to use CND Shellac™ when in reality they are not using genuine CND Shellac™ but a cheap imitation that hasn't been approved by any governments and could potentially endanger their clients as there is no way of telling what ingredients are in these potentially dangerous products.
Other salons will claim to have 'something similar' when you specifically ask for Shellac but it is impossible to have 'something similar' as there is no other product on the market like CND Shellac™ .
Remember If it doesn't say CND Shellac™ on the bottle it’s not CND Shellac™ in the bottle.
