Is Gel less damaging to nails than Acrylic? No. Gel & Acrylic are both different types of enhancements with one better suited to certain types of nails than the other.
Is Gel more shiny than Acrylic? Yes. But you can now use a gel topcoat over the top of your acrylics also which gives acrylic the same glossy shine as gel.
Will Acrylic damage my nails? No. As long and the acrylic is applied correctly and removed safely then acrylic nails should not cause any damage to your nails. If you pick or pull your enhancements off or if they are removed incorrectly, then you may cause some damage to your nails.
How are hard gel enhancements removed? They are buffed down leaving a very thin layer on top of your natural nail to grow out.
How do you remove acrylic nails? Nails at TheCabin removes acrylic nails by buffing the bulk of the enhancement down and using the cotton wool and tin foil wrap soak method. We do not soak off in bowls of acetone.
